VS Commodore Auto Transmission Problem

Hey there,

Now that I have replaced my siezed ecotec with a good used one from the wreckers I have a new problem. My tranmission operation is giving me grief. I can get park, reverse & neutral. But when I select 1,2,3 or drive all I get is 2nd gear. When I first started it I only had first and after moving the leaver a few times while stopped got second. I have also lost Speed indication. I checked the transmission fluid and it is fine. Are the two related. If they are where would you recommend I start.

Sounds like the transmission might be seized aswell

Check for any fault codes and also make sure the tb sensor and speed sensor is connected properly.
