Default Re-locating power steering fluid reseroir

So as the title suggests I wanna re-locate my p/s reservoir. I have a twin throttle setup that it gets in the way of and before getting the tools out I thought i'd see if anyone has done it before or has any tips...

I've done a search n didn't get much off that. I know its not pressurized and needs to be higher than the pump itself.

Would I be able to 'shorten' the reservoir by cutting out a section then plastic welding it back together?

    Any help would be great

    Cheers Jack

V6? If I recall the punps correctly, you'll also need the VS pump or at least the spigot out of the pump inlet. I think that VR and VS V6 pumps are otherwise identical.

It will better to mount the reservoir at the same height or higher than it is now although it should work with it a little lower with a positive displacement pump.

Reservoir is on top of the PS Pump in VR, VS have theirs near the Thermofan. Don't think the VS PS Pump will bolt upto the buick motor? Could be wrong.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
