Default vs v6 starter motor not engaging

    Hi guys,
can anyone help me with my vs? It's having starter motor trouble.
Descriction: The starter motor doesn't seem to be turning the motor
over.It will turn the motor a bit then just spin, sometimes it grabs a bit
more but not enough to start the motor. I changed it out six weeks ago
because it was doing the same thing(the original starter)but in that case
it degraded over a period of time(about two months),were as the new one
gave up almost straight away(started three times after symptom returned).
The motor also has a problem were on start up the yellow engine light comes
on and the motor runs rough,(A mechanic told me it was the water temp sensor)
I turn it off then start again and it runs fine and no warning light.I thought this
double use of the starter was the cause of the original starter falling but now I'm
sure.Has anyone had this problem or can help? Regards King monkey

If the starter is always failing then there is another problem there is no way you can have all those starters braking down
