best cutting compound

Hi guys,
Basically, issue is there is some overspray of the vht niteshades spray tint on the car panels. i was told a cutting compound will take it off but wont damage my normal paint job, was wondering anyone know a good one i can buy if this statment is true.

Just grab some mild cut and polish, the brand shouldnt matter too much but you will probably want to do the whole car at the same time or it will be shiny only where the over spray was.
