VT V6 & 5sp manual conversion

I have the chance to buy a complete engine and gearbox from a VT (tail shaft/ECU/wiring harness/pedals etc).
I have done some searching on here and have not being able to find a firm answer if these will work without too many mods - I have a VS auto V6.

Basically do I just get a VS manual tune and mod the auto wiring or could I use the VT wiring harness and get the VATS removed

ID Retain bcm, so treat it like a auto to manual conversion, plently of threads for that in search.

no worries will just do the auto to manual mod on the wiring harness and also change inlets to delete the EGR
