heey guys, new to the website, just having a browse through and it looks doohtz (good), any way, about 2 months ago, i bought a vs and in the ad it stated it was a berlina, but i dont know because the badging from the inside has been taken off, so i was wondering if there is anyway to know whether its a berlina or acclaim.

And also, (this is the hoon coming out of me!!) i cant do doughnuts, when i go full lock and drop the clutch, it will sqeak for a bit, but then its almost like its lost power, but when you recorrect it, its like it better, a mate of mine said that it might be the fuel pump, is this true?

Do you have climate control and 3 window dash cluster? this should tell you pretty quick besides looking at the VIN. Berlina's were not released as manuals either to my knowledge.

sounds like you have an open wheel diff( single pegger) you will not be able to do donuts with only one wheel spinning. sorry mate

SweetWagon, i do not have climate control, and i dont know what the dash cluster thing is, sorry, but mine is deffinately a stock vs 5 speed, would the vin tell me what type it is?

And about the donuts, would a clutch kick work? or what if i put in a locker for the diff?

with the dash does it have a display saying how many kms you have till you run out of petrol? and hos many kms you have done?

does it rev after you drop the clutch, if it squeeks then revs and you go nowhere then sounds like clutch slipping. If there's no climate control then it aint a berlina or calais, but check vin above will tell you what it's suppost to be.
