vs boot leaking

Hi,
I have a vs the boot was leaking ,so i replaced the seal.
After some heavy rain i noticed that there was water in the boot again, I found it was coming through the lights in the boot, I am just wondering can i get new seals for them or could i just use silicone or some thing like that.

Put some silicon around the edge of the lights,if that doesnt work then you will need to buy some new lights

use either window caulking compound (black stuff) it does not go hard or you could use sika flex as well

last time this happened to me i could only buy the taillight seal for one side from holden, no drama just get 2 of them and flip one over so it fits on the other side light, check rare spares they might have the seals to suit both sides if ya lucky

Run a jug of water over the roof so that water goes into the gutter over the rear doors - if the qtr window is leaking you will get water in the boot also.

where is the water? like in the spare tyer well? if it is its probably the rear quarter window, same thing happened to me, and now i have to replace all the boot carpet and get rid of a damp smell from my entire car.
