What would be making this happen

Try again soop it worked for me, and if you can't hear it, it is in time with the rpm

Sounds more like ticking then knocking..just my thought

Yes it is full of oil and i changed it about 500 - 800KM's ago

it runs good has heaps of power still in it

i just hope driving it like this isn't damaging it to much :S

20 - 50 i think

well when i bought it in April of 2010 it was doing it when i got it it was in crap condition and i have been doing it up since and finally got it on the road last month

A really loose rocker.

Change the lifters. One of the lifters is pumped up or has lost pressure.

First do an engine flush, change the oil and add some nulon lifter free. If that doesnt do the trick then change the lifters.

If its been doing that for like a year then i'd be checking there is no damage to the cam aswell.

can you put that video back up, i might be having the same problem loud tapping noise above 2000 rpm or so?
