How do you tell if you have cooked the motor? Does it try to start then just stop, or does it just not start?
can you tell us what's wrong? If it's seized it wont turn over at all.
It just does 1 tick?
Won't turn over either
More info needed - like was it overheated/low on oil/over revved or what.......

it does that with a flat battery man, try and be a bit more descriptive.
It splutterd then died when we stopped at lights and it was all smokey and the oil was just on "low" and then the oil light came on AFTER the car had stopped and the radiator was empty and there was a split in the side tank
Wreckers are your friend - about $500 should buy a good Ecotec motor...add $100 for a radiator and maybe another $200 for incidentals.
