Air COn pulley bearings
Hi, It seems that my bearings are gone on my a/c compressor pulley as it is making a terrifying noise and spitting sparks.
Can I replace the bearings?
If so, do I need a special tool to remove/replace the pulley? Armature spanner I imagine. Anything else?

If it's spitting spark it sounds more like the magnetic clutch is slipping - it is metal to metal and if it slips you may see sparks. It may not be the bearings but the fix may be just as expensive as the front of the comp needs to come off.
