on my VS the car alarm just doesn't sound as load as it should, i set of the one on me mum magna, and it nearly blew my ears off, but on the commodore it was just faint, not as load as it should be.
i've checked all connections and the horn it self works well, but i have no idea what the hell is making it so weak? is it mean to be like that?
cheers.
As far as I know the alarm does not use the same horn as the normsl one... Last I knew it was located closer to the passanger side window?

Do all vs's have an alarm or nah? how do you go about setting it off
not all, i thought it was the luxo models.
set it off by winding down passenger side window, lock the car with the button on the key, then pull up the passenger door lock and open the door
alrighty cheers blokes, i'll take a peak tomorrow.
cheers!
All VS Commodore alarms are aftermarket and only rarely fitted as an option from new....standard they came with an immobiliser but no alarm so if you were not told about it when you bought the car you can bet your bottom dollar you don't have one.
