stared off with a standard manifold cost $50 so not gunna hurt to much if it didn't turn out lol
then plasma cut all the excess not needed, had to try not let it get to hot so it didn't warp
start fabbing the plentum
had to make sure inside was all smoothed out and entrences into runners were "bellmouthed" before putting the top on
first fit up
how it sits today
so what do ya's reckon?
nice metal work mate, hows it go?
Nice job there. What else is done to the motor?
Reaper
thanks, not much internal wise slightly shaved heads, double valve springs, a rebuild, and remapped chip (done about 80,000k before i did the manifold) don't have any dyno sheets but it has alot better throttle response and torque. it also has rebuilt trans with kevlar belts corvette servo and stage 2 shift kit built for 800hp worth $3500, i was planning to turbo it but unfortunately she'll be up for sale soon cause need a more practical family car according to the missuse

While youve done a fantastic job there, thoses runners seem mighty short. 10" is usually as short as one normally goes. Those runners are mad for turbo and side mount super chargers though. That will allow you to run a ver large cam though.
You wouldn't happen to wanna make more of these would you?
throttle responce may feel better but back to back there will be a torque loss down low and a hp increase up top, this design is nothing new and a few i have seen have tried them and lost to much down low that they went back to standard and sold off the custom one.
Having said that you did some nice work fabing it up would be great for turbo or supercharged setup.
you realise that this was waaayyyyyyy back in febuary right.![]()
