wierd brake light problem
okay so everytime i put my foot on the brake i poop a fuse straight away
now the bulbs are fine, light up with headlights on etc
checked the lights and wires at the taillights everything looks fine
what could cause this?
Check the trailer wiring plug if theres one fitted.Sometimes these wires can be pulled half out of their sockets and they touch eachother,this would cause the fuse to blow each time the brake light comes on.A lot of the commodore genuine trailer wiring harnesses can be unplugged from the cars wiring in the boot on the drivers side,this is probably the easiest way to confirm if its faulty or not.

yer it has a genuine tow harness on it
also there was just one random blew wire hanging from it so i tapped it up
but yer ill try your idea

Have you recently changed stoplight bulbs?....it is easy to fit the wrong type which will short the circuit.

no i havent touched them since i got it
tryed the trailer plug thing, fuse still blew so not that
so im going with brake switch
