vr v6 injectors

hi just hoping that somebody may be able to help i have a 1994 vr calais v6 as off lately i have been able to smell fuel and the idle has seemed to have dropped to where it is almost at the stalling stage when its in gear and the engine check light has been coming on it gives the code 56 running lean i have noticed injectors on cylinder number five and four are leaking fuel around the base so i pulled them out and put new o rings on them they seem to go back in ok i started the engine to notice they are still leaking and if i push on them they seem to suck air upsets the idle the fuel around them goes when i push on them let them go and they leak again the other injectors i push on them and it does not upset the idle at all was thinking these two injectors may be crook was just thinking about replacing the 6 off them maybe any advice would be appreciated

Get the injectors cleaned and flow tested or replace them with new or reconditioned ones. Renew the o rings and b4 you push injectors into manifold put vasaeline petroleum jelly on the o rings so you dont damage them . Dont forget to depressurise the efi b4 starting the job, then disconnect negative battery terminal

Mate I just bought and fitted these to my VS V6,(see the link below),they are only "cheapie" ones,but at least they are brand new,theyve gotta be better than old reco ones for $100 on ebay..So far Ive found them to be excellent,way better than I expected.It starts instantly now and runs a lot better.The engine feels more smooth and lively.I was going to get a set of bosch reco's but I though,bugger it,I will try these for $170.These guys deliver fast too,they took 2 days to get here and they come with new o rings..Brand new bosch injectors were like $300 -$400 for a set.The local holden dealer here wanted $120 for "each" new injector!!!
The EFI places around here wanted $150 just to clean and reco my old ones.With most of the places I talked to,I mentioned these new ones on ebay,and most of them recommended I get the new ones instead of recoing the old ones,as they are never as good as new ones apparently,even after being cleaned and reconditioned.
