VR wont start on gas!!!!! URGENT!!!

Hi,
My VR calais is duel fuel and will run on petrol but not gas. It will run on gas if you hold the revs up high but wen u drop them the car stalls! Any sugestions?

Oh and also... When i turn the accesories on i hear the tank click if that helps

when you click switch to gas do you hear the click in the gas tank and from the converter as there a soleniod under the bonnet.

Might need some mixture adjustments made on the converter?
