Default More power from me old 304

    Hey guys..

The time has come that the old girl needs abit more power.. I hav done abit of reading and decided to supercharge the 304.. Just that there's so many options I can't make up my mind.. Capa hav a kit.. Raptor hav a kit.. Yella terra hav the terra charge and whipple kits.. Just wanna know the pros and cons and what ur persoal options are on the chargers I listed and also should I go trutac or kaaz? They the same? Price is similar

This forum has very little as far as good info on super chargers, you will prob find alot more on the "other" commodore site as far as this goes. All in all they are gonna perform ok no matter what you choose. What i would look at would be the kits ability to be self installed & most importantly, if it displaces the alternator (alot of side mounts do) does it include a kit for re-fitting it elsewhere on the engine. At the finish of it all you need to have a good tuner nearby you can take it to that can tune the delco ecu.

No idea about pros and cons between different charger setups. Though you'd want to make sure the motor is in A1 condition before you boost it, you'll get the most gain that way and less chance of something going bad.
