Something weird happening when I start

First off, the shift solenoids have gone in the tranny, and I've got parts on their way from America to fix it... but would they have anything to do with when I start the car and the blinkers start flashing and the central locking goes spastic for a sec??

Would it be the computer?? Or what?

Don't be too sure it's the shift solenoids themselves, it could be severed wiring or a bad ground as most Auto solenoids are grounded via the valve body.

As for central locking going spastic I have no idea.

As above for the gearbox,
central locking and lights flashing sounds like BCM, not the ECU.
