VS Fuel pump swap?

Hi quick question.

If I have a V6 tank out of a VS can I swap out the V6 fuel pump with a V8 internal fuel pump? Or are they the same?

As far as I know you can use the V6 pumps with a V8

Ok thanks. I just wanna know if I can use a V6 tank to feed a 304, and put a V8 internal pump on it.

Pretty sure theres no difference in the pumps, guy at work runs a v6 pump and it works fine.

Ok thanks for that! Another question is are VR wagon fuel tank the same as VR sedan tank? Is it a straight swap?
