Hey guys,
Was just cleaning my car the other day and noticed my cigarette/accessory socket LIGHT wasnt working (first time I have even bothered to pay attention)..
Anyway.. pull console apart to find the globe in its little holder thing seperate to the actual socket, basically not attached to the lighter hence not giving it any light.
I can't for the life of me figure out how it clips in or attaches back to the socket, if anyone knows how that would be great, if you don't know what I mean I can take pics in the morning and attach

I havn't looked at it for a while, but doesn't the globe fit in a square metal thing which is clipped to the side of the ciggy socket.
Hey mate.. umm yeah sounds reasonable.. The globe is in a square metal thing at the moment but the metal thing is not cliiped into the side of the socket lol and I cant figure out how to clip it in.. Any chance you could take some pics?
It clips near a large hole that the globe lines up with so it can shine through.
I found some pics in this thread ---> Cigarette lighter - light
These things are a pain in the arse, don't unclip the metal thing. First unclip the wiring loom then you can twist the globe socket and it comes out.

just squeeze the little metal box and push it against the the whole where its spose to go just slips back in
or slide it in on an angle

Which hole is it supposed to go back into though, thats what I cant find lol
Not the two long slots, but the square one about the shape of the housing for your light...Originally Posted by ;1792234
