vs v8 5speed wont hold in 5th

hi all i have a 97 commodore ute 5l v8 stroked to 5.7 its a 5speed
the prob i have is it wont hold in 5th i can put it im and cruse but if i put my foot down or take it off it jumps out
5th is the only gear i have the issue with

Could be a trans problem, forget what it is but theres a bit in there you may have to replace.

BUT could it be your trans mounts have sagged and the rubber boot around the shifter is pushing back on the lever to hard??.
