    Default VS BCM Failure..

pretty sure my BCM has just crapped itself because my car will not unlock with the button, tried and tried but nothing, the light on the dash is also not flashing which i think is another indication..

i can't get into the car at all because it seems at some stage the either the ignition or the door locks have been changed so i only have a key for the ignition..

any tips on how i can A) get into this piece of crap and B) fix the problem thats causing this, otherwise it seems im stuffed..

so you can't open any doors or the boot? either get racq a locksmith or some wire down the door seal to pull the lock up, sounds like dead battery

i can't open any doors or the boot because they're locked, they're locked because at some point either the ignition or locks have been changed, so i only have a key for the ignition, its something i didn't even think to check before buying the car, i don't think its a dead battery, its nearly brand new, pretty certain its caused by the BCM stuffing up..

Its easy to break things trying to force your way into the car. Like above, newer cars its much better to have a semi proffesional come break in for you.

my car mate, i wouldn't go to the amount of effort i did for any commodore except my own, after spending ages trying to get into it with all kinds of tricks suggested to me, including disconnecting the battery to reset everything, which isn't a simple task from underneath the car, one of my mates started playing with the keys and it unlocked, i was so ####ed but at least i got back into it, just hoping it doesn't #### up again while i try to work out what caused the problem..

Battery in keyhead or keyhead is almost dead. Get a spare keyhead asap before it dies completely. They can be had for around $90 from Mr.Minit.
