Exhaust note

Hey guys, i know its been posted somewhere before but im new to this and have no idea how to search properly

I want to find out wether you can get a nice low rumble and louder exhaust note by just changing the muffler and tip, or do i have to change the whole exhaust to a better one
am on a budget but really want my car to sound gruntier and louder. not to fussed on performance side yet.

my car is a VS Berlina v6 3.8 ecotec engine

any help would be awesome
