hey i have a vt brake boost i wish to fit to my vs, all i need to know is where to drill the hole on the boost rod,so it can b fitted to the brake pedal,
its bout 113mm from the bracket
is to the start of the hole or the center of the hole???
centre of the hole, you will need to weld the old hole up first though
yep iv already done that, thanks for that m8,
does the vt booster work better than a vs item? let me know cheers
Pushrod Purpose
The pushrod is the bar which is attached to your brake pedal, you push your pedal, the pushrod pushes into the Booster. The hole for the pedal on the stock VT booster will not fit, which is why you need to weld and re-drill the hole so that they match up.
Pushrod Modification - See picture
I. This hole needs to be welded up, a new hole 3/8 (9mm) wide needs to be drilled (see next step)
II. The new hole needs to be drilled 113mm from the base of the booster, which should be a tiny bit down from the previous hole.
