Matt
I just looked under the front suspension heading in the VS gregorys workshop manual, and the country pack option code is V5W.So Id say you have a country pack option. The V5W springs are 363mm free length, compared to the FE2 which are 315 mm free length, and the standard STD suspension spring free length of 395 mm.It shows that the STD spring free length is actually longer than the country pack springs, you would think the country pack springs would be longer so that the car sits higher.Id say the country pack springs would still sit slightly higher because the V5W springs are probably stiffer than the standard springs,so they sag down less once the vehicle weight is on them and compressing them down to their working height..It also says that the VS utes also use the same free length front springs as the country pack springs..363mm. .
Does it look any higher than usual?

Actually looks like its been lowered, and it has the BT-1 on the plate, indicating it was ex police.
This is what it looks like now, im trying to work out, where it came from, how its been driven, etc.
If it was a ex-cop car in the country , for instance, Im concerned its been driven into the ground, although,
on ther front of the motor, on the crankshaft is written VT (and several numbers), so I assume the motor is from
a VT, with a police PCM/ECU .
Its certainly a puzzle.![]()
