    Default vs v6 conversion into vr berlina v6

    hey got i got a 1994 vr v6 berlina and motor is dieing in it i got a vs v6 motor given to me which has only done 130k on it just wondering if any one knows what needed to do the conversion the only thing im not sure about is the bcm weather i need to charge the dash loom to suit the vs or if the vs bcm will work on the vr berlina dash wiring loom cheers Kevin

    ahh ok so i need to buy bcm dash wiring loom and remote to suit bcm thanks THE1

    yeah that fine ive done the vs state dash and loom upgrade in a vp before wasnt to hard just didnt want to stuff around to long on my every car as ive only got 3 day to do it all but i know that chargeing the dash loom is going to take the longest off the whole project thanks heaps for that i got the answers i needed will go get the part during the week so ill have every for it this weekend cheers.

    yeh ive got the engine loom with the motor the only other loom is the dash loom as the back end loom is the same as vs already

    no worries then , the only other thing i can think of is if you have a TH700 as the 4L60E in the vs is different someone here would have done a swap before and know the differences.

    i put a vs 4l60e gear box in my car when i got it as the old gearbox only had 2nd gear but there was 1 more question ive put new coil pac on my vr and ne dfi modual on it aswell are they the same as vs only coz the about 2 weeks old
