motor chucking a spaz

For some reason (i havent really looked into it) my car every now and again decides it doesnt wont to run but at the same time tries revs to keep from stalling, my revs are all over the place and has stalled out once, i haven't really much idea about why it would would do this its the secong time in around a month. any ideas on whats going on would help alot cheers

Cheers mate ill try the error codes this arvo and ill tell you what i find, hopefully it's nothing as it's only ever happened twice, in my 4 months of owning it, but still it should do it

I checked the codes and got 1 flash (wait a few seconds) then 2 flashes, which from the codes means everything is fine, repeated a few times and still checked out as 12, so obviously there's no computer errors, Im thinking its a loose sensor that might have jiggled around a bit, this morning and all of today the car ran fine apart from a bit of jumping from the temp gauge.

So when it won't run does it turnover but not start? Only hot or cold?

It will turn over and run for a few seconds and then spaz out for like a minute and then die, but the other time it happened i was driving for like 15 minutes and then it started chucking a spaz for a minute and went back to normal.
