Vs 5spd level 3 dash. Speedo not workign

Driving to work this morning 100km pouring raing. All of a sudden i notice no speedo. Cruise control will not work. Km/s are not ticking over. Fuel averages are all buggered up.....check engine light has come on but its pourrrrring rain outside. Speedo is all over the place i started it after work and it went upto 100kmh on idle in neutral and fluctuated liked a tacho when your rasing and lowering revs. Then on the way home nothing? Any ideas?"

Speed sensor may well be the issue.

Indeed i think it might be .....................i have a auto box sitting out the back.....im guessing the sensor will be different to the manual
