Hey peps,
I just changed my front springs in my vs ute and meanwhile as i was compressing them a few ball bearings fall out, i think there from the top of the strut em i correct?
Yep, the strut top bearing, which sits just inside the bottom of the strut top bushing. If ball bearings were out then they strut top bearing, and probably bushing too, are totally screwed, so you probably want to change them soon as you can. I used the SuperPro strut top bushing and bearing (all comes together) and would recommend them. Also I'd be doing both sides at the same time.
they would be from the bearing in the top of the strut, one of mine did the same thing i cleaned them regreased inside and reinstalled.
i havent had a prob yet, probly should have replaced them but muee
i had the garage check everything when the did a wheel allingenment and they said every thing fine
yeah if you can put them back together then you could probably get away with them but eventually it will just come apart again and need replacing anyway
