vs - not changing gears

Hi, if someone has any ideas as too why a vs commodore 6cyl gearbox wont change gears automatically....it will change if you manually do it, also i have been told that the upshift solenoid needs replacing, could this be the issue. cheers

could be, have checked the usual's, error codes, trans fluid with engine running.

If not then check the error codes, my guess would be one of the shift solenoids.

Could also be the power control module part of the ECU or the Throttle position sensor ....but as stated above, do a codes check Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)

Edit....I seem to remember that there is a fuse that can blow and cause this problem.....fuse number 9 in the passenger compartment??
