    Default vr manual conversion problems?

    hi,
    what would be the easiest thing to do with the ecu and wiring when i convert my vr to a manual?
    i have heard so many different stories, but whats the best way to get it running smoothly cause of the cam angle sensor?

    Have you had a read of the vr manual coversion thread yet in the howto section?? But i would imagine you would dridge out the Park switch and have the memcal re tuned to suit the maunal box. Theres gonna have to be some mods i spose for the speed sensor and that, but you should be able to figure all that out with a set of prints where it all ends up on the ecu.

    I did a conversion on my VR Berlina with my dad recently, and we used this kit to sort the ECU out. Basically you get to retain the auto loom, and just have to make a few modifications with the instructions that come with this kit. Was really good, but I got dad to do it because I'm not that crash hot at wiring hahaha Holden Commodore VR V6 auto ECU converted to T5 +wiring (eBay item 260747556043 end time 15-Mar-11 23:20:46 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
