vr series 2 doors

Hey all, my VRII s pack caught fire due to an ''electrical'' fault at 2am.
That night I had all my doors dead looked.. fire didn't travel through the car, but it started near the battery. the entire engine is screwed!

I'm in the process of strippin the doors n selling them as they are in good condition.. seats are fine too.
but I don't know how to get the doors un-dead locked??? any ideas??

Smash a window? If it's screwed any way would it matter?

Smash a back window, Its cheaper Your cars stuffed anyways; why worry about smashing a window.. Your lucky the doors didnt get damaged; Think of it that way..

If the Doors are dead locked how will smashing a window help ?

YOu just need to use the key in the driver side door to un-dead lock them

Possibly taking the door trims off? I fixed my doors from being unable to open from the outside and having child lock in the inside.. I pulled the door trim off from the inside and pulled on the opening mechanism or w/e

what colour is the car? dibs on the boot lip if its genesis blue and your willing to send it...

Just go in thru the boot - then thru the hatch. I'm not sure exactly how the deadlock actually works but I'd guess that if you disconnect the battery it will be disabled (but you will still need to physically lift the snipper button on a door except the drivers.)

yea but i wanna sell the doors cos theyre perfect cond.. i got the drivers door open cos i had to break the locking mechanisim.. all the wires are screwed so i cannot electronically un deadlock the doors which sucks... maybe have to just mess around and pull the trim off. lol
