Battery light?

Hey guys recently bought a vs Statesman series 3 and sometimes the battery warning light flashes dimmly mainly wen i accelerate heavy wat could it b? I was thinking maby the brushes on the alternator. Also its hard 2 start some times

Replace the regulator and see if it fixes it, check your wiring.
