can someone please do a how to on changing the ecu and loom for a vr manual conversion.
i dont really know where the loom goes and there not much info on how to do it.

unplug everything and plug the manual loom in :P

hey mate ok start at the left kick panal thats your ECU unplug that then there will be a little wight plug that connects it up to the body loom then go to your engine bay feed the loom past the fire wall unplug everything that needs to be to remove the engine loom its better to take the motor and box out with the loom and everything connected just make shore that the gearbox selector is off and the tail shaft is dropped from the diff it makes it so much easier the change it to the manual box run the new loom while the motor is on the ground put it back in and done my advice is to take pics of everything as you do it so you know were everything goes but make shore you flywheel is suitable and dont forget the plastics and stuff on the inside

But yourself a Haynes or Gregorys.
That should have a wiring diagram in it that will help you identify which plugs are which on your new loom.
Once youve done that, start swapping it over.
