JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT YOUR CAR RPM IS AT 80kmh
mine is 1500 just wanna know if its ok

its got plenty of torque has std dif ratio but i dunno why it sits there

you sure when you go to put it into 5th your not just shifting back to 3rd by accident?

mine sits at 1700RPM at 100k's

yes im sure lol its like the ratios arent great see 4th gear the revs only drop a few hundred and same with fifth and when it was auto it used to sit at about 1700

Yea thats about right, once the torque converter locks. That usually happens around 77km/h depending how much you're accelerating. If you're just cruising along on a flat road, accelerating just enough to maintain speed it should be sitting about 1500rpm @ 80km/h.

what trans do you have? with the holden T5 you should be doing100km/h @ 1850rpm with 3.08:1 diff ratio and 17" wheels. thats what mine does. with 3.45 ratio it's 2050rpm, 3.7:1 it's 2200rpm and 3.9:1 it's 2300rpm

mine sits on about 1800 or 1900 at 100km/h it hasnt beens erviced in over a year so it wouldnt surprise me if something's farked.

and 1750rpm at 100kmph...
