Driver Window Problem

Hey guys I have a couple of problems with my drivers side windwo on my VR...
(Not Power Windows)

Firstly (This has been going on for ages) the window dislodges itself and doesn't actually sit in the sill at the top of the door when it is closed... I can get it in sometimes, but it means holding the window while winding it up and making sure it actually goes in properly...

Secondly the other day I opened my window, but I couldn't close it.... It was pretty much impossible. I had to take the whole of the trim off, but all I could do is spray some WD-40 on the gears and stuff... This let me get the window up, but now when i wind it up and down, its like its jumping some of those gears in there...

If anybody has had any of these probs, or knows whats going on, please reply..

A little trip to the wreckers mate...the rail the window sits in sounds buggered...........a little bit of fiddling about to do...but not hard......
