    Default removing abs?

    i was just wondering if its posibule to remove the abs out of a vr berlina ?
    thinking it wouldnt be to hard just get no abs brake lines and stuff off another car?
    has anyone done this or herd about doing this ?

    why? usually people go the other way wanting to put it in lol Pull the fuse and fuseable link?

    im convering it over to a ecotec and tidying up the engine bay dosnt look to hard to do and will look much cleaner i think

    I'm also pretty sure it will be illegal to remove ABS from a factory equipped car. Just put a cover over it or something, ABS is a very good safety feature. Unless you know the exact sweet spot of your brakes for maximum braking without locking up than leave it in. Also the (general) first reaction for most people when seeing a hazard ahead is to SLAM on the brakes, pedal to the floor.

    im with you pretty sure it would be illegal as its removing a factory safety feature
    probably a bit like disabling an airbag

    Removing a safety feature for the sake of looks is not a good idea. ABS is one of the best safety features there is.

    i drive a vs with out abs now. it was just a thort might look into relocationing maby
