Default 2.5 Exhaust on VR Excutive to a Calais

    Hey Guys,

Tried doing a search for something along the same lines. I have a 2.5" Exhaust on my crappy VR Executive. My dad thinks that I can put the 2.5" exhaust from my Executive to my VR Calais. Is this possible?

    Thanks

Well considering Acclaim, Calais and I think Berlina's were all IRS then I would assume no they aren't live axle. Will take it off the Executive tomorrow and line it up to see if everything will fit right and if it does I will then take off the Calais exhaust.

IRS came standard in the VR Calais. Should say underneath the radio instead of the ABS badge it has an ABS/IRS Badge. So no it wont fit

The 2.5" I fitted on my mates Acclaim was the exact same as to what is on My executive, so I think it might fit. Will check it out tomorrow anyways. Thanks anyway guys!

Acclaims im fairly certain IRS was optional. But i could be wrong as i say EASIEST way to find out is the badge under your head unit. Little badge should either say ABS or ABS///IRS.

Apart from that check the axle. If its a straight axle with no rubber covers (blows me what they are actually called) then its live.

    IRS

If the exhaust goes under the axle on the calais then it is irs and the exec exhaust won't fit it.
