Default Vs v6 cold air intake help

Hi guys, just wondering would this
performance cold air intake 5.0 Holden VS SS Commodore (eBay item 220734045089 end time 04-Apr-11 11:08:49 AEST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
fit on my VS V6 Berlina?
If so, are any modifications i have to do? or can i just put it right on?
And what performance differnce should i expect?
    thanks!

get the supercharged v6 version, if you can find one at a wrecker score, if not holdens one is similar priced you need bottom airbox housing, the top radiator bit and the tube between it and the airbox. you can save some money and hack the hole bigger in your existing lower airbox to save cash. No performance difference just designed to get colder air into the intake so you can then get other mods to use the colder air and then get a tune to take advantage of it.

Don't bother. Do it for free cut the bottom of the airbox. No heat soak and mad induction noise.

depends on how hot your engine bay area gets, but over the radiator gets hot eventually to, if you want to save some money you can just cut the hole.

Have a look on the forum page under sponsors.
    Mace Engineering
Mate you need to have a good look around this site you will be able to find alot of things yourself.
Start at the top and open everything and have a look it`s not that hard.
I`m not after wheels but I opened the Wheel Deal sponsor and had a look at what they have to offer.
    Do you get it now?
U don`t seem to be a dumb #### so have a look around.
I do admit I have been lazy a couple of times and was set straight my members.
You will get a lot of help on here and I love this place a lot of people on here have helped me as this is my first computer car.
I`m not putting s*** on u just showing u the way.
    Cheers Pete.

Didn't like the idea of cutting the hole cold air intakes for sale but had to and I'm glad I saved some money.

If your skilled you can make it look factory. I didn't I cut the crap out of it with side cutters. One day will do it properly and make it sexy. Bet there is 3/10ths of stuff all difference between them. Certainly not $250 worth any way.
