Roller rockers on VS clubby

Hey fellas. I know a bloke who's got some 1.65:1 ratio EFI 5l Roller rockers with a 3/8" stud for $300(new)
first Question: Is $300 a good price?
2nd: Am i better off with 1.9:1 rockers, but if i get a cam too will there be issues?
3rd: Would my 96 5L clubby have 3/8" studs???

You can go pretty much any size of rockers and then get a custom grind cam to suit, but some cam's can be used with 1.9:1 rockers.
