maybe do a flush and then put some new fluid in. and then maybe an anti friction treatment?

all i know is that they shift smoother on ATF (dexron3) with the lubrizol additive (penrite i think)

Dont start an argument on that!!!! There is heaps of threads and it always ends in a good old JC bitch fight.

Everyone thinks something different, my understanding was VN- VP take 75w90 and then VR-VS take ATF DXT3 with the lubrizol additive. I know the VP factory holden manual at tafe says 75w-90 which is what i put in my VP t5 and it works fine and is now quieter then when it had atf.

One of these will shorten your shifts: Gm RipShift
New fluid aswell will help. May aswell spray it too so it looks nice
