From 1 V8 driver to another (well hopefully soon to be) go the V8, nothing beats the raw power and enjoyment you get from driving a V8.

put it this way, youll take off quicker than 5 litre v8s. S/C ecotec in a vs is awesome.

Castlemaine rod shop have got a small one (http://www.rodshop.com.au/)

Centrifugal Air Pumps Australia have many (CAPA- http://www.capa.com.au/)

Or else get a factory supercharged L67. They have plenty of potential, are about the same price as the CAPA units, and I think are a direct changeover (or nearly) and then you have your ecotec to sell afterwards.

If you do fit an aftermarket supercharger, insurance will be hell (finding, paying) and the cops will give you a hard time. A V8 will also not be easy, but probably easier.

according to capa its about 5 grand, the rodshop has one for around 2000 maybe a lil bit more. fairly expensive but itll make your VS commodore go from 0-100 KM/h in around 7 seconds, give or take.
