Default vr wheel and hub issues

having some issues with some new/used rims i have bought. they are xhp barbs 17inch. i was told they came off a vr. the stud pattern is fine but the hub centre on the wheel is way to big by about 5mm or so and doesnt locate on the hub on the car. ive had some vibration issues wich ive tracked down to the new wheels not being central on the hubs. can i get locating rings to rectify the problem or are the wheels maybe off something else. where in s/e melbourne could i get locating rings? regarding wheel nuts should i use the ones with a shank that goes through the wheel mount holes or ones that have a beveled edge? cheers ash
