Plenum idea

Cut a hole in the bonnet and put a massive spacer in the plenum nearly doubling the volume. Good idea? Bad idea? Bottom end? top end?

Anyone tried it?

So you will have a huge hole in your bonnet with an aluminium balloon poking thru with exactly zero difference in performance. I guess it really depends if you have P plates or not as to if it's worth while.

haha if I ever seen any V6 commodore drive past me with the plenum sticking out the bonnet, I would prob have to stop my car so I don't run off the road because I would be laughing way 2 hard.

Bottom end? Massive reduction, less throttle response, not enough air in too larger Plenum area, cylinders will be gasping for air.

Top End? Zero.

Good idea? Bad idea.

Wank Factor? 100% with all show (albeit gay) and no go.

Anyone Tried it? No, because it is full of fail.

never seen it on a v6 but have seen it on a 5ltr with a GRP A twin throttle body manifold, it actually looked good on it, im pretty sure it was a SC feature car
