Hey guys i got a vs v6 berlina with 18 inch rims.
ultra low king springs
but for some odd reason the rear right side is 2 finger gap while the other side left is 1 finger gap
My car is sitting on King springs, app its the shocks that isnt it letting it sit low as it should be? because its still not as low as i want it
any other reasons it might be?
any help will be great thanks!
anyoneeeeee?
Have you got the camber done on it,it might also need a new panhard rod.
You should also get a camber kit done on the rear,I have the same car as you and the same suspension done I also had a castor camber kit put on the front. My rear springs are lowered heavy duty ones which is great if you tow anything, you also need to put in a smaller panhard rod because you have put in lowered springs
Does it have IRS or live axle ?
If you want to check if the shocks are causing the problem just take them out ( just the back ones ) and see if the height levels out. If its still uneven with them out then its not related to the shocks.
IRS will need a camder kit fitted on the rear
Na my commodore is live axle
so i dont think its the camder? or still possible?
its the panhard rod

Its the panhard rod youll need to chuck an adjustable one in there especially if you wanna go lower. if you see live axle commys that havnt had one and when you sit behind them they actually crab slightly sideways down the road lol
What do you mean by crab sideways??
i did not know 'any' vs's did not have IRS.
94 VR V6 - No ABS & NO IRS... a true mans steed and a 99 VT XU8 for good measure.
VS V6 berlina it'll be IRS
I Have One
I have never seen a Lowered commodore crap sidewayz, but I before I used an adjustable Panhard rod on almost every bump the tires rubbed and made a hell of an awful noise.
