3.45 LSD Questions

I just found this Ford Holden Falcon Commodore 3.45 28 spline LSD complet (eBay item 250798051638 end time 07-Apr-11 19:19:35 AEST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats on ebay and was wondering if it would be able to be put into my manual vs wagon.
Also, is 3.45 a good ratio for a 5 speed? I mostly drive around town (50-80kph), but i don't want 1st gear to be too short and i don't want my revs too high when i do drive on the highway.

yes good size for 5speed not too tall, unsure if thats exactly the right gears or not, they all look the same to me, lol. But i would err at buying gears that have rust on them. Its only surface rust sure, but lends itself to pitting in the teeth and probably is gonna have a shorter life span.

alright, thanks for the info. if they stay at this price i will probably just get them, take them to the diff joint, and ask if they will work. its only $30 after all. if anyone has any more info or an opinion i would much appreciate it
