Nice car mate but you need to change your wheels around the otherway so the air can cut in on the brakes better, thats why they were designed that way and alot of people dont relise this

DAKSTER he needs to swap the right hand side wheels with the left side, then the curve point of the wheels will then point forward instead of backwards which then has a correct angle for the air to flow into the brakes.

so you change the wheels to the other side.. agreed, they point the other way. Unless the other wheels are different, bring them to this side.. what happens to them?
Either the car has 2 wheels that are physically oriented in one direction, and 2 wheels that are physically oriented in the other direction ( and I am willing to be corrected should that actually be the case.. ) then moving wheels from one side to the other will have no effect at all. I wonder which side the spare is designed to fit...

If all the wheels are the same, and I believe they are, then you are right, swapping them side to side will have no effect. I had a quick scan of this thread before heading off to work this arvo and thought WTF are they talking about?

Edit: Nice car rousy88. Hope you don't lower it

Thanx for that compliment Patti2912,I actually looked further into this situation with these wheels and it turns out that at the start when they made these wheels they actually did make lefthand and righthand side wheels so both sides pointed forward because I was right in that the air cut into the brakes better, they only made a certain amount of them and put them in the added extras category, but they ended up getting complaints that when they needed to be rotated they could only rotate them front to back and not side to side so then they just produced the wheels facing one direction

Because the rims faced forward they could only be swapped front to back so they would stay pointed forward only on the same side of the car,but the rims that dont have the curve on them can be rotated on any side eg front left to right rear but with OP's wheels design only front left to rear left. But most of the wheels these days can go on any side front and rear.

Ummm believe it was the very first post after you made the original statement that someone 'noticed' it when I said how funny that statement was. It just took us a while to help you grasp the concept... not pissed off though, glad to be of assistance

I'd be interested in hearing from the OP though, as I have said I am willing to be corrected if in fact the wheels are unidirectional. I guess we've lost him though, haven't heard beyond the original post.

There are such things as unidirectional wheels, but the cooling slots on the ones I have seen are much much smaller. I would assume the manufacturers would prefer you didn't suck a passing plastic bag through your wheels .. oh wait that wouldn't help because the plastic bag could still get sucked in under the car by the wheels if they were rotating the other direction .. oh wait that would mean the brakes get air sucked past them from either outside or under the car regardless of which way they were pointing .. oh damn that probably means the unidirectional ones are just for looks..

Presenting this information not because I think I am right, but to show how silly it is to make categorical statements as fact without checking first***... I actually have no idea what the purpose of unidirectional wheels are, and I am guessing they probably do help the brakes a little. None of us can make any kind of educated statement on the OP's wheels though unless we have the same set of wheels to check, or can find them online, or the OP comes back and clarifies or adds a photo of the other side of the car.

I know if I was the OP and blonde enough to try without thinking, I might be peeved if I actually went out and rotated all my wheels on your recommendation, stood back to admire the car and thought 'huh, nothing has changed' !!

If you knew this and 'was just trying to see how long it would take for someone to realise this' then why continue trying to defend the point?

*** I admit to having made the same mistake, categorically stating that HID lights were legal because my car passed a roadworthy with them. Of course, they aren't, I just got lucky then made an assumption...
