Bad Fuel Economy- 1997 VS Ute V6 - Help!!

Hi folks, I have a 1997 VS S Pac Ute with the Ecotec V6, Automatic Transmisson, approx 300,000kms
Im currenty getting 350km not even reaching 400kms from a 50 litre tank, using it mostly
highway. I have replaced the oil, oil filter, air cleaner looks good, fuel filter, spark plugs and
oxygen sensors but has made no difference? what can be causing this im sure i should
be getting an easy 400? even 450? what should i do? Do the fuel injectors on these ever cause
this? any help would be appreciated ive tried everything!, thanks folks! =)

well.. i boosted my fuel economy by putting on extractors and sports exhaust.. I push 450 - 500km now when highway driving to work and back instead of 400km when i had the cracked manifold and rusted out exhaust
