OKAY so i was taking out the 10mm screw in the top of the motor and one fell down the hole im f**ked how far would it have gone? is there anyway to get it out ? will it #### the motor if i start it ? plz plz help me i dont no what to do
something long with a magnet on the end, would have possible gone right down into the head near the valve. You might end up having to take the plenum off to get closer.
Which hole did it fall down exactly? Can you take a picture of the hole?
Down one of the intake runners I assume? Just go and buy a pick up magnet on a long flexible handle. If you cant find a flexible one then just get a cheap one and bend the curve shape in it yourself. Sacrificing a $5 pick up tool would be worth the effort for the alternative of pulling more apart till you can find it.
Muppet of a mate dropped a bolt down one of my plenum cylinders.... got it out with a magnetic screwdriver. good luck.
just don't start the car til it's out lol.

while im taking all these part's off is there any gaskets that i should look at changing?
OKAY all good now took me like 5 seconds to get it out this morning after a spent like 2 hours looking and trying to get it out of the wrong hole once i realized it was the wrong hole i got it out with a coat hanger and a tiny magnet sticky taped to the end thanks for all your help guy's![]()
ps i aint doing that again
Those bolts in the plenum aren't even meant to come all the way out. its a split thread, so u only need to undo it til its loose and it will stay in the plenum
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!
