something long with a magnet on the end, would have possible gone right down into the head near the valve. You might end up having to take the plenum off to get closer.

Which hole did it fall down exactly? Can you take a picture of the hole?

Down one of the intake runners I assume? Just go and buy a pick up magnet on a long flexible handle. If you cant find a flexible one then just get a cheap one and bend the curve shape in it yourself. Sacrificing a $5 pick up tool would be worth the effort for the alternative of pulling more apart till you can find it.

This is true. I dropped 2 plenum bolts down the intake hole few weeks back. I was stuffed without it, one was sorta stuck behide a valve stem, so make sure you get a strong magnet.

Those bolts in the plenum aren't even meant to come all the way out. its a split thread, so u only need to undo it til its loose and it will stay in the plenum
