Removal of rear shock absorber in VS Ute

Hi guys,
I just bought my VS ute 5.0ltr manual and it needs new shockies.
Ive seen a few posts on how to remove the front struts, but ive drawn a blank on how you get to the top nut off the rear shockies on the VS ute?
Any thoughts?

There should be a flat part at the tip of the shock just above the top nut where you can get a small spanner or shifter onto it to hold it while you undo the top nut.If not,or if its been rounded off,(which isnt hard to do,so be careful),then get someone to hold the body of the shock with large stilsons whilst you undo the top nut..

No worries I'll give that a go. Stupid question i spose but I assume you get to it from under the tray? I got under there this arvo but couldn't really see where the top nut is. It seemed to go up through the floor of the ute tub. Mind you I didn't really give it a hard look at it, it was pissin down rain so I thought "bugger it, I'll have a proper look tommorrow!"

if you look in the tray around the middle you will see to little covers (aprox 3"x2" oval shape) held on by 4 screws, undo them and the nuts underneith them.
if you have a tub liner you will have to remove it to get to these covers.

AH HA! That would explain it! Tub liner is in the road!
