Ask repco for a air filter for a vr v8 ute. If it doesn't fit, take it back...........

What do you mean it "dont go back"? Did it fit originally, are you sure you are putting it in correct?

    Product Style: Panel Air Filter
    Height: 1.125 in (29 mm)
Outside Length: 11 in (279 mm)
Outside Width: 6.563 in (167 mm)
    Filter Material: Cotton Gauze

You put the filter in the lid then put the lid on the bottom half, and then obviously clip the two together.

    LOL! Rep for that.

What do you mean it came out but didn't go back in? You're trippin

Grab a workshop manual from repco or something in the future so you know what you're doing.
It should only go in one way.

I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but if you managed to take it out doesn't that mean that it originally did fit???

Yes but because it was that old and warpped when I took it out it expanded making it almost impossible to replace. Understand now?
